Texas State Musician Nominee and International Recording Artist, Kelli Grant, the Queen of Swing™ has been Nominated for inclusion in the 2007/2008 Heritage Registry of Who’s Who Entertainment, documented with the Library of Congress. The Swing Queen & her band, the Swing Kings take the audience down a musical highway of Blues, Jazz and Swing from New Orleans to New York City, Chicago to Kansas City and Memphis to Texas following “Swings” evolution into a musical revolution, Rock ‘n Roll. She is on the Mid-America Arts Alliance touring roster with funding by the National Endowment for the Arts. Featuring the music of Louie Armstrong, Count Basie, Louie Prima,and the dance craze of each era that followed the beat.
